Wiring diagrams, sometimes called “main” or “construction” diagrams, show the actual connection points for the wires to the components and terminals of the controller.

I want to emphasize that the wear is very slight, and cannot replace an actual valve seat cutter. I use valve lapping compound to show me the contact points from the valve seat onto the valve face.

Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery, helps you ensure fire safety by addressing the electrical considerations specific to equipment, apparatus, and systems used in industrial manufacturing processes.

It only requires finger pressure to make the cut. These cutters hold carbide cutters at perfect angles for cutting your valve seats. Depending on your engine you may need to cut your valve seats with a 46 degree or 31 degree cutter. There is a 1 degree interference angle to allow your valves to wear into the seats to form perfect seals. The valve seat cutters require a perfect valve guide in order to accurately cut the seat.

This was just a basic overview of wiring concepts. You can add additional components to your tractor such as safety switches, fuses, ammeters, hour meters, indicator lights, etc. They all will be wired in a similar fashion to above. The most important concept to remember is you need a closed loop or circuit to have electrical flow, and it’s best to visualize your wiring in separate circuits.

The wiring also only runs a short distance. I recommend using 6 AWG wire for the high amp starting circuit, and the negative side of the battery to common ground connection. All other wires can be 16 or 14 AWG. The easiest and most effective way to make all of the connections is by using nylon wire crimp connectors. Nylon wire crimp connectors are more durable than ones made from PVC. They are also easier to install than soldered connections. The most common crimp connectors you will use are spade and ring connectors.

Electrical symbols are used on home electrical wiring plans in order to show the location, control point(s), and type of electrical devices required at those locations. These symbols, which are drawn on top of the floor plan, show lighting outlets, receptacle outlets, special purpose outlets, fan outlets and switches.
