I want to emphasize that the wear is very slight, and cannot replace an actual valve seat cutter. I use valve lapping compound to show me the contact points from the valve seat onto the valve face.

Power then runs from the “A” or accessory terminal to a STSP (Single Throw Single Position) switch. This switch is wired in-series and is a way to connect and disconnect power to your accessory such as your headlights. Your headlights are then wired to the STSP light switch and are wired in parallel to each other. This means two wires will come from your light switch and connect to each headlight individually. Two ground wires will also come off each headlight individually and connect to the common ground. If you were to wire your headlights in series each headlight will only use 6 volts rather than 12 and the brightness will be diminished.

When constructing junction boxes and pull boxes, you must be careful to exclude materials such as dust, flyings, oil and coolant. After you complete all wiring operations, you must seal all unused knockouts or openings.

For example we can determine if an ignition coil is healthy or not by measuring the resistance of its windings. To measure resistance, set your meter to Ω ohms resistance. If you need to select a range, select the smallest range normally 200 ohms. Place the red probe onto one of the small terminals of the ignition coil, and the black one on the remaining small terminal. Your resistance will then display. A normal ignition coil should read about 3.5 to 4 ohms. If your meter reads a much higher resistance it means your ignition coil may have a short and is faulty.

As the piston in your engine moves downward it creates a vacuum which draws in air through the intake end of the carburetor. As the air travels through the venturi, the air’s pressure drops, and fuel is drawn down from the fuel bowl, and then back up through the main jet and emulsion tube. The low pressure air mixes with and atomizes the fuel. This air/fuel mixture continues through the intake valve and into your combustion chamber.

As your engine turns, the camshaft pushes your breaker points open, which creates a high voltage induction in your ignition coil. This high voltage power runs through your spark plug igniting your engine. Residual electricity in your ignition coil’s primary circuit is absorbed by the condenser.

Modern electrical machine tool equipment may vary from that of a single-motor machine (such as a drill press that performs simple, repetitive operations) to very large, multimotored automatic machines, which contain highly complex electrical control systems. Typically, these machines are especially designed, factory-wired, tested by the builder and then erected in the plant.
